Association County Commissioners of Georgia

The Association County Commissioners of Georgia (ACCG) is a nonprofit instrumentality of Georgia’s county governments. Formed in 1914 with 19 charter county members, today ACCG serves as the consensus building, training, and legislative organization for all 159 county governments in the state. With this primary charge, ACCG works to ensure that the counties can provide the necessary leadership, services and programs to meet the health, safety and welfare needs of their citizens.

Georgia Election Officials Association

The Georgia Election Officials Association or GEOA is a professional association of County and Municipal Election Superintendents, Election Board Members, Registrars, Assistants and Deputies who do the work of preparing and conducting elections in the State of Georgia.

Georgia Municipal Association - GMA

Created in 1933, the Georgia Municipal Association (GMA) is the only state organization that represents municipal governments in Georgia. Based in Atlanta, GMA is a voluntary, non-profit organization that provides legislative advocacy, educational, employee benefit and technical consulting services to its members. GMA's membership currently totals 520 municipal governments, accounting for more than 99% of the state's municipal population.

Georgia Municipal Clerks/Finance Officers Assoc.

The Georgia Municipal Clerks and Finance Officers Association (GMC/FOA) is a non-profit organization formed in 1956. Its purpose is to provide training to its members and offer a means of professional interaction between Georgia's City Clerks and Finance Officers.

Georgia Records Association

The Georgia Records Association (GRA) is a professional organization dedicated to establishing responsible Records Management practices throughout local and state government in Georgia. The Association is committed to providing professional development through continued education and networking, while serving as a source of information and support to all local and state government organizations.

IIMC

The International Institute of Municipal Clerks (IIMC) is a professional, nonprofit association that promotes continuing education and certification through university and college-based institutes and provides networking solutions, services and benefits to its members worldwide.

National Association of Parliamentarians

The premier professional non-profit association for parliamentarians, NAP provides services and products to help its members and the general public learn how to effectively participate in and manage meetings of deliberative assemblies such as school boards, homeowners associations, church boards and volunteer organizations. NAP also provides continuing education and accreditation for parliamentarians who provide professional services to these types of organizations.

Protocol Officers Association

PDI-POA works actively to ensure state and local government appreciation of the importance of establishing and supporting an Office of Protocol, and the necessity of employing an official Chief or Director of Protocol to handle international relations and dignitary visits.
